  • Rutgers’ Fed Challenge Team Wins Second Place in New York Fed Competition

    Karn Dalal, Ali Haider Ismail, Gurpal Sran, Andrew Lee, Isabel Juniewicz, and Prof. Rubin The College Fed Challenge is a team competition for undergraduates inspired by the working of the Federal Open Market Committee. It is designed to encourage students to learn more about the U.S. macro economy, the Federal Reserve System, and the implementation of monetary policy. In November 2014, the Rutgers-New Brunswick team, sponsored by the Economics Department, -- Karn Dalal, Ali Haider Ismail, Isabel Juniewicz, Andrew Lee, and Gurpal Sran --won second place among a total of 36 teams competing at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
